Governor Ayotte Officially Files for Re-Election

NASHUA, N.H. — Today, Governor Kelly Ayotte officially filed her candidacy paperwork at the New Hampshire Secretary of State’s office, kicking off her re-election campaign alongside more than 100 supporters and family members.

“I am running for re-election for one simple reason: because I love our state and we have a whole lot more work to do to make sure we keep New Hampshire a beacon of hope in the region for taxpayers, families, and small businesses,” said Governor Ayotte.

“Over the past 18 months, we’ve fixed the broken bail system, gotten cell phones out of the classroom, passed laws to tackle the housing crisis, protected services for our most vulnerable, and more,” added Governor Ayotte. “While I’m proud of everything we’ve accomplished, there’s more work to do to keep New Hampshire safe, prosperous and free.

Governor Ayotte continued, “As I have always said, our state is never more than one election away from becoming Massachusetts – from becoming something we’re not. I wake up every day ready to protect what makes us unique and deliver an even brighter future for all of New Hampshire.”

After filing, Governor Ayotte headed out for a Super 603 Day to highlight the people, businesses, and attractions that make New Hampshire an exceptional place to visit, live, work, and raise a family. Planned stops include businesses in Franklin, Laconia, and Manchester.
