NASHUA, N.H. — Today, the Ayotte campaign released a new digital ad highlighting New Hampshire Democrats’ long-standing issues with Opioid Lobbyist Cinde Warmington’s history of lobbying for Purdue Pharma and calling OxyContin a “miracle drug”.
The ad features Warmington’s 2024 Democratic primary opponents, Joyce Craig and Jon Kiper, and includes a moment from the primary debate in which Craig asked Warmington when she would apologize for her record.
“For years, Democrats across New Hampshire have voiced their issues with Opioid Lobbyist Cinde Warmington’s record of lobbying for Purdue Pharma, calling OxyContin a ‘miracle drug’, and advocating for a notorious pill mill that later bankrolled her campaigns,” said Ayotte campaign spokesman John Corbett. “Regardless of political party, Granite Staters will come together in November to reject Opioid Lobbyist Cinde Warmington.”
