NASHUA, N.H. — Tonight, Governor Kelly Ayotte will participate in a second gubernatorial debate hosted by New Hampshire Public Radio with Opioid Lobbyist Cinde Warmington.
Governor Ayotte will highlight how she has delivered on her promise to keep New Hampshire safe, prosperous and free, including:
- Passing 12 new bipartisan laws to tackle the housing crisis
- Fixing the broken bail system
- Getting cell phones out of the classroom
- Protecting critical services for vulnerable Granite Staters, including Medicaid eligibility, mental health services, and recovery programs
- Stopping the landfill at Forest Lake State Park
- Creating new childcare tax credit program
- Ensuring there continues to be no sales or income tax in New Hampshire
While New Hampshire is moving in the right direction, Governor Ayotte knows there is more work to do. The Governor will continue to support efforts to build more housing, work to make childcare more affordable and accessible, and hold utility companies accountable to lower energy costs for families and businesses in our state.
Governor Ayotte will also hold Opioid Lobbyist Cinde Warmington accountable for her decades-long record of lobbying for Purdue Pharma, advocating for a notorious pill mill, and putting her own self-interest ahead of New Hampshire. The Governor will also highlight Warmington’s openness to raising taxes and her extreme energy plan that would eliminate gas-powered vehicles, ban home heating oil, and skyrocket energy costs.
