NASHUA, N.H. — Last week, Governor Kelly Ayotte’s campaign launched its First Responders Coalition with endorsements from over 150 law enforcement officers, firefighters, and emergency medical personnel from across the Granite State. The launch comes just weeks after New Hampshire was once again ranked the safest state in the nation.
“I’m honored to have the support of first responders from across our state, and I’m grateful for the work we’ve done together to keep New Hampshire the safest state in the country,” said Governor Kelly Ayotte. “These men and women put their lives on the line each day to protect our communities, and we’ll continue to make sure they have the resources and support they need to safely do their jobs. I will always have their backs, and together, we’ll ensure New Hampshire remains #1 for public safety for years to come.”
“Governor Ayotte understands that keeping New Hampshire safe starts with standing with the men and women of law enforcement,” said Hillsborough County Sheriff Brian Newcomb. “From fixing the broken bail system and keeping dangerous repeat offenders off our streets to pushing critical highway safety initiatives, she has delivered for the Granite State. Kelly listens to us, supports us, and will never hesitate to put the safety of New Hampshire families first.”
“Governor Ayotte has consistently stood with New Hampshire’s firefighters,” said Brian Ryll, President of the Professional Firefighters of New Hampshire. “From expanding access to mental health coverage and life-saving cancer screenings to restoring the retirement benefits our first responders have earned, she has ensured fire and EMS professionals across our state — and our families — get the support we need. We know Governor Ayotte has our backs, and we’re proud to have hers.”
