NASHUA, N.H. — Tonight, Governor Kelly Ayotte released the following statement:
“It’s an honor to serve as Governor of the best state in the nation, and I’m running for re-election to keep New Hampshire safe, prosperous and free.”
“I’m proud of all we’ve accomplished together: from fixing the broken bail system, to getting cell phones out of the classroom, to passing 12 new laws to tackle the housing crisis, to protecting services for our most vulnerable, and more. We’ve kept New Hampshire moving in the right direction, but there’s more work to be done.
“Our state is never more than one election away from becoming Massachusetts – from becoming something we’re not. I’m ready to protect what makes us unique and deliver an even brighter future for all of New Hampshire.”
Opioid Lobbyist Cinde Warmington is the Democrat nominee in the November election.
Ayotte campaign spokesman John Corbett added the following statement on Warmington’s disqualifying record:
“Opioid Lobbyist Cinde Warmington was paid to lie on behalf of Purdue Pharma, called OxyContin a ‘miracle drug’, and advocated for a notorious pill mill that later bankrolled her political campaigns. Warmington would take New Hampshire in the wrong direction with higher taxes and Massachusetts-style energy policies. Granite Staters know that they can’t trust Opioid Lobbyist Cinde Warmington.”
