Delivering a Brighter Future

As a proud product of Nashua public schools, Kelly is proud to support our students and teachers, and she believes every child deserves to be in the setting that helps them reach their full potential. Kelly delivered historic funding per-student and put more money into special education than ever before. She also signed laws to expand education opportunities for families and delivered on her promise to sign the Parental Bill of Rights.

Kelly heard loud and clear from parents and teachers that screens were becoming a distraction and taking away from learning, so she pushed for and signed a law to get cell phones out of the classroom. Teachers and school leaders are already seeing a difference — less cyberbullying, better focus on learning, and students spending more time developing relationships with their peers. 

She has also focused on strengthening partnerships between schools and local employers so students can build real-world skills and graduate ready for the workforce. Kelly will continue to support our community colleges that are leading this effort and ensure students have opportunities to explore careers in the trades and other important fields.
